In addition to sushi and Japanese sweets (wa-gashi), global customers are now enjoying various Japanese food style such as izakaya, ramen and curry, and western-style Japanese sweets (yo-gashi). As a partner of producers and manufacturers all over the Japan, we provide custom-made support in order to deliver such Japanese foodstuffs made with producer’s passion to overseas customers, mainly in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. Market size, consumer tastes, and distribution systems in overseas markets vary by country and region, but we analyze the current situation based on the voices of the local people, and help build local brands and sales strategies, select local partners, and so on.

After working at Hakuhodo Inc., joined Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in 2001.

Engaged in Japanese food export business and retail business in Asia.

Established Sankyo Food Trading Ltd. in 2016.
